Gera, the home of ELECTRONICON Kondensatoren GmbH, is a town in a broad
valley along the Weisse Elster river in the province of East Thuringia.
The town is well served by the local road/rail/air network. Geras close proximity to the "Hermsdorfer Kreuz" intersection of the A4 (Dresden - Gera - Eisenach - Frankfurt/M.) and A9 (München-Gera-Leipzig-Berlin) motorways makes it an ideal industrial location. The Gera-Leumnitz airport is only a three kilometre drive from the town centre. Gera railway station is the junction of InterRegio, INTER-CITY and other rail services between Erfurt-Gera-Chemnitz and Leipzig-Gera-Nürnberg.
ELECTRONICON Kondensatoren GmbH can easily be found on the main road (B92) in the direction of Greiz. From the motorway exit we would suggest that you follow the signs in the direction of ZENTRUM and then from the town centre towards GREIZ. After about 15 to 20 minutes you can see the factory on the right hand side of the road.
Our company has two manufacturing sites with a total area of approximately 23,000 sqm. The main plant is located in Keplerstrasse 2 (old Wiesestrasse 151) (approx. 14.000 sqm), and the metallization centre in Gera-Pforten (approx. 9,000 sqm).
