Every year, trainees from our region are nominated by friends, family, companies, IHK and HWK for the campaign "Trainee of the Month" launched jointly by regional newspaper “OTZ” and Volksbank eG Gera • Jena • Rudolstadt. From June till October, three trainees per month compete against each other. Every week, one trainee is presented with a special page at OTZ, supplemented by information about the job description and the training company. This May, Tom Poller entered the race on behalf of for ELECTRONICON. The 20-year-old is currently on the “home straight” of his professional education as a machine and system operator. For 14 days, it was possible to vote online on the OTZ website or by an offline coupon. In the end, Mr. Poller was delighted to win a One-year saving scheme and a free 3-month subscription to the e-Paper version of OTZ. We wish Mr. Poller continuing success in his training and a successful completion.
