Focus on Railway Business: Certified to IRIS
Like all industries whose products deal with the transportation of people, the rail industry pays strict attention to the enforcement of product safety along the supply chain. Its industry standard ISO / TS 22163 ("IRIS") is based on the specifications of the globally recognized standard for quality management systems, DIN EN ISO 9001. IRIS focuses on the preventive improvement process. It pays particular attention, on the one hand, to avoiding errors in production and the supply chain, on the other hand to maintaining and continuously improving product quality, including its safety aspects.
Certified according to environmental standard ISO 14001
Nowadays, environmental management is an indispensable part of sustainable corporate development. Securing the living space of present and future generations has become a global task. As a modern German industrial company, it is therefore a matter of course for us to consider the effects of our activities on the environment and to promote environmental protection without neglecting our economic and social interests. Our environmental management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. It is designed to coordinate all important aspects for continuous improvement of our environmental performance, to ensure legal conformity, to develop savings potential and to reduce or prevent the environmental impact of possible accidents.
Energy Management based on ISO 50001
In 2015, we introduced a separate energy management system based on the provisions of ISO 50001, in order to continuously improve the energy performance of our company. By increasing our energy efficiency, we are not only aiming to reduce our production costs. As a manufacturer of capacitors for devices and systems for the "green" generation and transmission of energy as well as for environmentally friendly means of transport, it is a matter of course for us to contribute to the relief of our environment through optimized energy use.
